What an interesting process it is to fully prepare the team and the practice for the return of patients. There is so much more to get into place than any of our checklists have outlined.
Our staff are very anxious about returning so we have collectively decided to use the ‘overkill’ approach to keep everyone safe and calm.
We are yet to communicate with patients and determine how many want to return. Once there has been a consistent week of phoning it will then be possible to make decisions about hours of opening and staffing levels.
